hehe Build Your Skin Care Routine

Healthy skin is a natural blessing, but a majority of people have to put in effort to have smooth and glowing skin. Our daily life habits play an important in our overall health, especially in our skin condition. Regardless of the products we use or the dermatologists we consult, there is huge variety of products that confuses us more than help, especially given that we are overwhelmed with promising advertising campaigns run by companies like The Marketing Heaven. At the end of the day, basic skincare is simply up to our own selves.

So, how to build a skincare routine that is affordable, not too time consuming, and is effective? Well, here is a basic skin care routine that will cleanse, refresh, and maintain a healthy and glowing skin in three steps.

  • Cleansing
  • Toning
  • Boosting (optional, when you have more time)
  • Exfoliating and  mask (optional, when you have more time)
  • Moisturizing

Cleanse

The best thing about cleansing is that it is very simple and takes minimum of time, which makes a routine to cleanse our skins twice a day quite doable. Start your routine with a good cleanser that does not contain any harsh chemical. Cleansing takes away all the dirt, impurities, and residual makeup with drying out the natural hydration and suppleness. Cleansing also prepares our skins for the following steps to welcome a toner and better absorb the moisturizer.

Tone

There is no question about tone or not to tone. Many of you treat toner as a personal preference, which to the point of timing it is, but “not toning” is not an option. Toning your skin takes only a patting soaked cotton pad across the face. It takes away the all excess oils and removes dead skin cells to leave behind a feather soft and light skin. Make it once a day, if you are extremely busy with other commitments. But don’t miss it, for it tightens the cell gap in your skin after cleansing. Toners are also known to shrink pores along with removing the chlorine and other harmful minerals that are commonly found it tap water.

Moisturize

Moisturizing is the last step of the basic skin care routine and it is essential to lock in all three or five steps. It hydrates and soothes your skin after all the unfriendly exposure our skin is subjected to. Your moisturizer needs to be of really good quality because a bad choice can cause a number of disadvantages. None of us wants breakouts or dull patches all over our faces or even our bodies. The best moisturizing composition is based on Vitamin E, Glycerin, and Pro-Vitamin B5.

Read the ingredients before deciding on the one best suited to your skin type.
